Join us for an interactive Data Walking Workshop, where you will explore, collect, and visualize data while engaging critically with Siena’s urban spaces. During this workshop we ask:

What is Data Walking?
Data Walking is an interactive method that encourages participants to engage critically with their surroundings, collecting and visualizing data to uncover new insights about urban life. Whether you are new to data collection or an experienced researcher, this workshop will guide you in exploring Siena’s streets through a data-driven lens.
📌 What to Expect:
👣 Walk through Siena’s streets like a data explorer—observing, collecting, and mapping data on liveability, accessibility, and urban dynamics.
📸 Use various data collection methods—notes, photos, digital tools, or sensors—to document your findings.
📊 Analyze and visualize your collected data, uncovering insights into how data shapes our cities.
🤝 Work in small teams, bringing together different skills and perspectives to learn and experiment.
