OpenHack 2025: A Dynamic Hackathon Bridging Academia and Innovation

We are excited to share that Latina Today has published an article covering OpenHack, a major hackathon in which we had the opportunity to participate as part of the PRIN project!

OpenHack brought together over 200 students from universities across Italy, challenging them to develop innovative economic solutions in areas such as sustainability, financial innovation, and social inclusion. The event fostered an interdisciplinary environment, enabling students, researchers, and industry professionals to collaborate on pressing economic challenges.

Our participation in OpenHack through the PRIN project allowed us to contribute research insights and methodologies to the hackathon, reinforcing the connection between academic research and real-world applications. This collaboration was highlighted in the recent Latina Today article, which underscored the importance of integrating research-led approaches into student-driven innovation.

We are thrilled to see our work recognized and to have been part of an initiative that strengthens ties between universities, students, and the economy. The full article is available on Latina Today, and we encourage everyone to check it out to learn more about the event and the ideas that emerged from it!
